Allariz is a village between Ourense and Ginzo de Limia, very close to Ribadavia and the Sil canyons.
The town was declared historical-artistic site in 1971, it has a great medieval charm after being perfectly restored and cared for, reason why it received the European Prize for Urbanism.
This place is full of history and every corner of it has something to tell us. Its name comes from a Swabian settlement and its chef Alarico. Around the eleventh century the fortress and its walls begin to be built, giving more importance to the town that was called the keys of the kingdom, due to its important strategic.
The church of Santa Maria, very close to Roman bridge, and built by the order of San Juan de Jerusalem, and which were responsible for safeguarding the passengers-by between Galicia and Castile, it was a very importance passage.
The Great Monarch Alfonso X, "The Wise" was educated and learned Galician in Allariz, from here he created some of his Cantigas.
It preserves several Roman churches such as the Santa Maria´s church, mentioned above, the Roman Bridge, part of its walls and the fortress, Santa Clara´s Convent (with the largest Baroque cloister in Spain, although the monjil cloister does not allow access to it), the Jewish quarter and some Stately homes.
A magical as well as intriguing place, where some legends such as the Santa Mariña or Scamantecas (Werewolf) are born.
The romanticism of this area, is not only its medieval streets, but also the environment where it is located. It is on the banks of the Arnoia River, where there is a river promenade, an amazing place, which its main protagonist is its magnificent Roman Bridge.
Day 1. Arrival at the Hotel Spa in Allariz
We will arrive at the chosen accommodation for the stay and we check in.
We will be greeted with a bottle of cava, fruits and jelly beans in the room.
On the day, we will leave our luggage and we will take a quietly walk through the village.
You can visit Roman churches, such asthe Santa Maria´s church, mentioned above, the Roman Bridge, part of its walls and the fortress, Santa Clara´s Convent, the Jewish quarter and some Stately homes, but especially take a romantic walk along the river promenade.
We will rest in the hotel.

Day 2. Guided visit to theWineries of Viña Costeira and Spa Circuit
Buffet Breakfastat the hotel and we will be making our way to Viña Costeira.
These wineries have something very especial, they dedicated all their efforts to the recovery of a great variety of historical Galician grapes such as Loureira, Godeña, Albariño o Treixadura among others.
They combine a great passion for its work, Growth and Projection that have made the brand one of the best wineries in Spain. The visit to the winery of Viña Costeira includes a tour of the vineyards showing the different varieties of grapes that make up the ribeiro wines.
With this visit, the visitor will know how to distinguished the characteristics of the different grape varieties, and will acquire a complete knowledge of the elaboration of wine process, ending with a tasting of 4 of the wines.
We suggest to stop for lunch at Ribadavia, a place as magical as Allariz, or if we prefer we can return to Allariz to eat, according to the time and the choice.
Back at the hotel in the afternoon, we will be ready to use the Spa circuit and to relax. We will settle into a romantic evening with our partner.
We will sleep in the hotel.
Day 3. Buffet Breakfast and the end of the experience
After a second night in Allariz, and having enjoyed another wonderful Buffet Breakfast, we will check out and end our trip with this romantic experience that will remain in the memory as one of these gateways that must be repeated.

HOW TO FORMALISE YOUR RESERVATION
Our travel agency advised to book minimum 15 days in advance for a better management. It remains feasible to book this gateway although is made less than 15 days. However it is recommended to do it with greater time in advance.
A deposit of 30€ will be required so as to formalise the reservation.
Once your reservation has been formalised, shortly after, our team will be en contract with you to specify all of the details.
Once the reservation is finalised, we will send you all the information for your compliance.
Once all the services have been booked and confirmed, the client must make full payment minus the deposit paid in advance, 15 days before the beginning date.
In case the reservation has been formalised less than 15 days before starting date, the client must paid in full the total amount of 279€ per individual.
NO CANCELLATION FEE up to 7 days before beginning date. In this case, we will refund the total amount paid as a deposit and other fees.
Up to 7days before the start date, there is no cancellation fee. In the unlikely event that it gets cancel, the deposit will get refund in full.
