Gastronomic and thalasso-thermal getaway in Baiona / A Guardia, very close to Baiona de Vigo and A Guardia at the border of Portugal, this is a getaway where you will find a great variety of sensations and experiences to remember. We relax at the Hotel Talaso Atlántico, if we have time,we will do a monumental visit to Baiona, we will enjoy the typical Galician gastronomy, we will see the town of A Guardia, a view of the archaeological settlement of Castro de Santa Tecla and much more.
Day 1. Arrival at the Hotel de Talaso Atlántico.
Upon arrival at the hotel-Talaso Atlántco, one of the best hotels in the area, we will check-in and get ready to enjoy a few days of breaks, thalassotherapy treatments, Galician culture and gastronomy.
We will take this day as free time to pack our luggage and relax after the trip.
If the schedule allows us, we have two options depending on the time and energy we have. If we have time and want to, we can go to Baiona to take a walk through the city and visit monumental places such as the Ex-Colegiata Santa María and the Fortaleza - Parador de Monterreal. In the event that the time is shorter or you simply want a more relaxed plan, we can relax in the thalasso and have a quiet dinner at the Faro restaurant in the Talaso Atlántico hotel.
Day 2. Breakfast, Castro de Santa Tecla, mouth of the river Miño and walk through A Guardia. Thalassotherapy circuit “Recorrido Marino” at the Hotel Talaso Atlántico.
After enjoying a typical Galician breakfast at our hotel-Talaso, in the morning we will go to A Guardia.
Bordering the entire coastline by a spectacular landscape watching the incredible Atlantic, we will arrive at A Guardia in just under half an hour from the hotel. In the town we will see the Castelo de Santa Cruz, its port or its magical landscapes of Monte Santa Trega. In that same Monte de Santa Trega is where we will find on its hill the Castro de Santa Trega and its archaeological museum. It is a Galician settlement with unique landscapes between countries, watching over the Miño River at its feet. It has a format of mostly circular houses, typical of the old settlements in the area. Once this tour is finished we will have a free time to eat in A Guardia or in the area.
When we rest the food we will have to go back to the Hotel - Talaso where we will enjoy the Thalassotherapy Circuit "Marine Route", an especially relaxing and healthy Thalassotherapy treatment where we will take the whole afternoon to rest from the day.
Once this cultural and relaxing experience is over, we will have dinner and end this beautiful day of resting at the hotel.
Day 3. Breakfast, bath in thermal pool and end of services.
This is our last day of our getaway. Our recommendation is to take enjoy this morning and take a bath in the thermal pool, before or after breakfast, each person will have their preferences. We will do the Check-Out at our Hotel-Talaso and we will be able to end our getaway. Happy come back to home!

Our travel agency advised to book minimum 15 days in advance for a better management. It remains feasible to book this gateway although is made less than 15 days. However it is advisable to do it with more time in advance.
A deposit of 30€ will be required so as to formalise the reservation.
