The Mariña Lucense is bordered to the north by the Cantabrian Sea and to the south by the mountain ranges of O Xistral, Pousadoiro, and Lourenzá.
In summer, it offers a wide variety of beaches, while in the milder months, it stands out for its spectacular hiking trails, such as the Ruta do Litoral, which runs along the coastal promenades; the Burela Geo-routes; or the Circular Route, which allows you to enjoy the landscape in all its splendour.
The mild climate, the powerful allure of the sea, and the intense green of the mountains and valleys make this region an ideal destination for practising slow tourism. It is perfect for relaxing, disconnecting from routine, and enjoying a peaceful getaway, far from the noise and stress of everyday life.
- Day 1. Arrival at the Hotel. Dinner with Typical Products
Upon your arrival at the selected establishment, we will complete the Check-In and prepare to enjoy a few days of rest.
This first day we will take as free time to arrange our luggage and relax around the area, enjoying the tranquility with a walk. Afterwards, we will delight in an exquisite homemade dinner, made with local products, which will allow us to experience the most traditional flavors of the region.
After dinner, we will relax at the hotel to rest and be well prepared for a more active day ahead.
- Day 2. Visit to Playa de Catedrales (Optional) and Gastronomic Tasting in Foz. Free Afternoon.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will set out to explore the beautiful surroundings. The Mariña Lucense offers many things to discover throughout the year, from its impressive beaches to its hiking trails, perfect for getting lost in nature.
Playa de Catedrales, declared a Natural Monument, is one of the main attractions of the area. We offer an optional visit to this beach, famous for its enormous rock formations sculpted by the action of the waves. Its image resembles that of a cathedral, hence its name. It is a unique place where we can enjoy the beauty of its arches and cliffs while listening to the whispers of the Cantabrian Sea.
IMPORTANT: The visit to Playa de Catedrales will depend on weather conditions and the state of the tide.
Once the visit is concluded, we will head to a nearby restaurant, in the vicinity of Rapadoira Beach, where we will enjoy a traditional meal. The gastronomy of Foz has a marine flavor, thanks to the activity of the nearby ports, which allow restaurants to have fresh products daily. Guests can taste a variety of local products in a selected establishment.
After lunch, we will have the afternoon free to enjoy whatever we liked most about the area or simply stroll at our leisure.
- Day 3. Breakfast, End of Services
This is the last day of our getaway.
We will wake up after enjoying the hotel's amenities and have a leisurely breakfast. We will carry out the Check-Out, but before departing home, if time permits, we will take advantage of the morning to explore the surroundings. We recommend climbing Monte Castelo, from where you can bid farewell to the Cantabrian Sea with spectacular panoramic views.
With this last activity, we will conclude our getaway.

How to Formalize Your Reservation
For better management by our travel agency, we recommend making your reservation at least 15 days in advance. However, if the reservation is made within a shorter period, we will proceed to manage it equally, although it is always advisable to book in advance.
To formalize your reservation, a payment of €30 per person is required as a deposit and management fees.
Once the reservation is formalized, our team will contact you as soon as possible to confirm all the details.
After formalizing the reservation, we will send you all the related information for your review and confirmation.
When all services are confirmed, and 15 days before the start of the trip, the client must pay the remaining amount of the reservation, which corresponds to the total price of the trip minus the deposit already paid.
If the reservation is formalized less than 15 days in advance of the start of the trip, the client must pay the total amount of the trip at the time of booking.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before
If you wish to cancel your reservation, no cancellation fees will apply as long as you do so 7 days before the start of the trip. In this case, the amounts already paid will be fully refunded.
