The Soul of Wine and the Pazos of Galicia
This is a unique route through several Pazos of Galicia, where we will enjoy wine tastings at various wineries and explore these grand monuments that are part of Galician history.
In Galicia, there are nearly 900 registered pazos, each with a different purpose. Some house vineyards, restaurants, or inns, blending history and pleasure in idyllic landscapes.
Pazos, former manor houses of the Galician nobility located in the countryside, are a reflection of the region's noble past. During this getaway, we will visit several of them and charming villages, with guided tours, relaxation areas, and wine tastings at some of the finest wineries.
Accommodation will be distributed among pazos located in Ribadavia (Ourense), Caldas de Reis (Pontevedra), and Vigo, where you can enjoy their gardens, unique decoration, comfort, and an exclusive atmosphere that will transport you to another time.
- Day 1. Arrival at Casa-Pazo in Ribadavia
Upon arrival at the selected establishment in Ribadavia, we will proceed with the Check-In.
Today, we will dedicate the day to exploring an incredible village on the banks of the Avia River, a tributary near the Miño River, which was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1957. This beautiful town boasts one of the most important historic centres in Galicia.
Depending on your arrival time, we recommend a stroll through Ribadavia, visiting its medieval streets and arcaded squares, viewpoints over the Avia River, and admiring its temples and pazos from different periods and styles (from the 9th to the 19th century).
- Day 2. Accommodation in a Pazo in Vigo. Visit to Pazo de Rubianes, gardens and winery
After a delicious breakfast at our Pazo, we will Check-Out and head to Pazo de Rubianes, built in the 15th century. This majestic pazo, featuring an impressive garden and an excellent D.O. Albariño winery, is a French-style complex similar to the Petit Château. Moreover, it is part of one of the most famous camellia routes in Spain.
During the visit, we will explore the pazo, its wineries, and the historic complex. The visit will culminate with a wine tasting, allowing us to appreciate the qualities of Albariño wine.
After enjoying this wonderful experience, we will head to the next accommodation in our getaway: an authentic Pazo in Vigo, located just a few metres from the sea and beaches.
This day will be dedicated to relaxation and enjoying the city of Vigo. We can savour the delicious local cuisine, especially seafood, fish, and marine products, all extremely fresh thanks to the city’s advanced fishing port.
We will take the opportunity to visit modern monuments from the 19th century, enjoy the gardens, sculptures, and leisurely walks along the beaches of Vigo.
- Day 3. Accommodation in Caldas de Reis
After a delicious breakfast at our Pazo, we will Check-Out and head towards Caldas de Reis. Along the way, we can make stops at iconic locations such as the Balneario de Mondariz in Pontevedra, the Poio Monastery, or even Cuntis, renowned for its thermal water tradition. In any of these places, we can also stop for lunch.
We will arrive at our next Pazo in Caldas de Reis, located between Pontevedra and Santiago de Compostela. The hotel, surrounded by a relaxing environment, is just one kilometre from Caldas, a town with a rich thermal tradition.
- Day 4. Breakfast, end of services
This is the last day of our getaway.
We will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the Pazo and Check-Out. If time allows before returning, we can make one last visit to Vigo to toast to the "next getaway".

How to Finalise Your Booking
For better management by our travel agency, we recommend making your booking at least 15 days in advance. However, if the booking is made within a shorter timeframe, we will still process it, though it is always advisable to book in advance.
To finalise your booking, a payment of €30 per person is required as a deposit and management fee.
Once the booking has been finalised, our team will contact you as soon as possible to confirm all the details.
After finalising the booking, we will send you all the related information for your review and confirmation.
When all services are confirmed, and 15 days prior to the start of the trip, the client must pay the remaining balance of the booking, which corresponds to the total price of the trip minus the deposit already paid.
If the booking is finalised less than 15 days in advance of the trip's start, the client must pay the full amount of the trip at the time of booking.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before
If you wish to cancel your booking, no cancellation fees will be applied provided it is done 7 days before the start of the trip. In this case, any amounts already paid will be fully refunded.
