We offer you the opportunity to walk the last 100 km of the Camino Primitivo, from Lugo to Santiago de Compostela on foot. If you want to spend an unforgettable week walking the Camino de Santiago, enjoying a unique experience, and finally obtaining the Compostela, this is your chance to make it a reality.

Itinerary
  • Day 1: Arrival in LUGO

Your starting point on this route, Lugo, is a city with countless tourist attractions. Some of these include the Lugo Wall (a Roman construction declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Interpretation Centre of the Wall, the House of Mosaics, the City Hall with its clock tower, and the Cathedral of Santa María.

  • Day 2: Stage 1 "LUGO – SAN ROMAO DE RETORTA" (19.7 KM)

Breakfast in Lugo.

The first stage will take you from Lugo to San Romao Da Retorta, a small town with a strong pilgrimage tradition. There, you can visit the Church of San Romao Da Retorta and see a replica of a Roman milestone found in the town. The original is preserved in the Diocesan Museum of Astorga.

  • Day 3: Stage 2 "SAN ROMAO DE RETORTA – MELIDE" (27.7 KM)

In this pre-Roman town, you can see the façade of the Romanesque Church of San Pedro, a 14th-century cruceiro (considered the oldest in Galicia), and the Terra de Melide Museum (formerly the Sancti Spiritus Monastery-Hospital). Additionally, you can enjoy Galician culinary delights, such as Melide’s octopus.

  • Day 4: Stage 3 "MELIDE - ARZUA" (29 KM)

Continuing along the Way, you’ll pass through Arzúa, which offers places to visit such as the Magdalena Chapel and the parish church of Santiago.

  • Day 5: Stage 4 "ARZUA – O PEDROUZO" (19 KM)

Breakfast in Arzúa.

Approaching Santiago, this stage ends in O Pedrouzo, part of the “concello” of O Pino. Here, you’ll find the memorable Chapel of Santa Irene.

  • Day 6: Stage 5 "O PEDROUZO – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA" (20 KM)

Breakfast in O Pedrouzo.

Ready for the final stage, you’ll depart from O Pedrouzo to Santiago de Compostela. Once in Santiago de Compostela, there are countless places to visit. The main attraction is the Cathedral and the Plaza del Obradoiro, but it’s also worth taking a stroll through the Old Town, enjoying the culinary offerings, and visiting other iconic buildings such as the Parador of the Catholic Monarchs, the Monastery of San Martín Pinario, or the Pazo de Raxoi.

  • Day 7: Breakfast in Santiago de Compostela and end of services.

Observation

How to formalise your booking

For better management by our travel agency, we recommend making your reservation at least 15 days in advance. However, if the booking is made within a shorter time frame, we will still proceed to manage it, although it is always advisable to book in advance.

To formalise your booking, a payment of €60 per person is required as a deposit and management fee.

Once your booking is formalised, our team will contact you as soon as possible to confirm all the details.

After formalising the booking, we will send you all the related information for your review and confirmation.

Once all services are confirmed, and 15 days prior to the start of the trip, the client must pay the remaining balance of the booking, which is the total trip price minus the deposit already paid.

If the booking is formalised less than 15 days in advance of the trip start date, the client must pay the full trip amount at the time of booking.

Free cancellation up to 7 days before

If you wish to cancel your booking, no cancellation fees will apply as long as you do so 7 days prior to the start of the trip. In this case, the amounts already paid will be fully refunded.
