Itinerary
  • Day 1. Origin – Santiago de Compostela

On the first day, our driver will pick you up at the airport or train station and take you to your designated accommodation in Santiago de Compostela, where you will stay for three nights.

After checking in at the hotel, the afternoon will be free to rest as needed or to enjoy the city at your own pace.

  • Day 2. Guided Tour in Santiago - Gastronomic Tasting

After enjoying a typical Galician breakfast at our hotel, we will explore the city.

We will take a guided tour of Santiago de Compostela, visiting highlights of the city, declared a World Heritage Site, such as its Cathedral (entering through the Portico of Glory), Platerías Square, Obradoiro Square, and the Parador Reyes Católicos.

After the tour, we will enjoy a gastronomic tasting featuring typical local products and drinks to better understand the region’s culinary heritage.

Following the meal and some leisure time, the afternoon will be free to revisit favorite spots in the city or take a leisurely stroll.

After this gastronomic and cultural experience, we will have dinner and conclude the day at the hotel.

  • Day 3. Full-Day Excursion to Costa da Morte

We will begin the day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a roughly 10-hour excursion. Our driver will pick us up at the agreed time, heading to Costa da Morte, where pilgrims from Compostela meet the vast ocean.

Our first stop will be in Muxía to visit the traditional seafaring sanctuary of "Nosa Señora da Barca," spectacularly located by the sea. According to tradition, this is where the Virgin appeared to the Apostle James.

Next, we will visit Finisterre, the ancient "end of the world." Here, pilgrims from Compostela are greeted by the immensity of the ocean. We will stop at the iconic lighthouse, the most important one on the Costa da Morte, which guides ships through its treacherous waters.

We will continue to Ézaro to marvel at the breathtaking waterfall of the Xallas River, which flows through Ézaro and uniquely empties into the sea.

Next, we head to Muros, a charming fishing village with notable beaches such as Area Maior, with Mount Louro as its backdrop. Here, we will explore its port and fish market before heading to Noia.

In Noia, we will see the parish church of San Martín de Noia and Constitution Square. This town is renowned for its shellfish, especially cockles and clams, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy local cuisine.

After completing our full-day excursion, we will return to our accommodation to rest for our final night in Santiago.

  • Day 4. Santiago - Monastery of Oseira - Ribeira Sacra: Spa Hotel or Similar

In the morning, our driver will take us to our second accommodation in Ribeira Sacra, a stunning area between Lugo and Ourense.

En route, we will stop at the Monastery of Oseira, which, after a century of abandonment, was restored by Cistercian monks who worked diligently to bring it back to its former glory. It now boasts an impressive library and a small archive. A must-visit site in the area.

We will then proceed to our accommodation, where we will check in and start enjoying the spa hotel with a thermal circuit.

The Thermal Circuit includes a thermal pool with various hydromassage jets, waterfalls, swan neck jets, oxygenating beds, an ice fountain, a counter-current pool, a whirlpool bath, an outdoor pool, a dry sauna, and a steam sauna.

After this rejuvenating experience, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest.

  • Day 5. Catamaran Ride on the Sil River - Visit to D.O. Ribeira Sacra Winery

After a delightful breakfast at our accommodation, we will be ready to explore the area.

Our driver will take us to a catamaran ride through the Sil River canyons. During this trip, we will marvel at the cliffs, some reaching up to 500 meters, and the steep slopes, over 70%, where century-old vineyards of the Ribeira Sacra Designation of Origin are located.

We will also visit a D.O. Ribeira Sacra winery, where we will learn about wine production and enjoy a gastronomic experience with tastings of one of Galicia's finest wines, accompanied by local products.

To end the day, we can unwind with another thermal circuit at the spa hotel, savoring its hydromassage jets, waterfalls, and more.

  • Day 6. Monastery of San Esteban - Monastery of Santa Cristina

Our final day in Ribeira Sacra will feature visits to its most notable Romanesque religious constructions.

We will start at the Monastery of San Esteban de Ribas de Sil, now home to the Parador of Santo Estevo. Dating back to before the 10th century, its beauty and well-preserved details make for a unique visit.

Next, we will visit the Monastery of Santa Cristina de Ribas do Sil, an excellent example of Galician rural Romanesque architecture from the 12th and 13th centuries. Set idyllically by the Sil River, it is surrounded by chestnut trees.

We will also stop at key viewpoints, such as the Balcones de Madrid, to admire the stunning landscape, dotted with vineyards, hidden monasteries, and dazzling waterfalls.

Our driver will be at your disposal to transport you through this beautiful region shaped by the Sil and Miño rivers, which carve out an enchanting landscape as they flow through the mountains.

  • Day 7. Breakfast and Transfer to the Airport

After breakfast, we will check out of the hotel, and depending on your flight or train schedule, our driver will take you to the nearest airport or train station to conclude the circuit.

We wish you a pleasant journey home and hope these days in Galicia leave unforgettable memories.
