Heritage, Nature, and Enology
The Ribeira Sacra boasts the largest concentration of Romanesque religious buildings in all of Europe. During the experience, we will stop at the main viewpoints of the Sil River, where you can admire stunning views of ancient vineyards, hidden monasteries, and waterfalls that captivate the senses.
The vineyards of the Sil, recognised for their mountain viticulture, produce nearly 60 million bottles annually, most of which are red wine. The wine from the D.O. Ribeira Sacra is unique for its heroic viticulture, which requires farmers to work on steep slopes.
Since the times of the Roman Empire, this wine has been highly valued, with records of significant shipments to the highest circles. Today, you can enjoy a glass of this prestigious wine on the catamaran that sails through the Sil canyons, or during a visit to a winery, which is part of this unforgettable getaway.
- Day 1. Arrival at the Spa Hotel in the Ribeira Sacra. Thermal Circuit
Upon arrival at the selected establishment in the Ribeira Sacra, we will proceed with Check-In and prepare to enjoy a day of rest and wellness.
This day will be dedicated to relaxing in the hotel’s Thermal Circuit, ideal for unwinding after the journey. The circuit includes a thermal pool with various types of hydrotherapy jets, waterfalls, swan neck fountains, oxygenating beds, ice fountain, counter-current pool, whirlpool bath, outdoor pool, dry sauna, and wet sauna.
If the guest wishes, the itinerary can be modified or additional services added, such as the hotel’s golf course.
After this thermal experience, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest.
- Day 2. Ribeira Sacra Visit, Sil River Catamaran and Thermal Circuit
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will begin the second day in the Ribeira Sacra. This region, famous for its stunning landscapes and historical heritage, offers a unique experience.
When ready, our chauffeur will take us to the Monastery of Santo Estevo de Ribas de Sil, a site of great beauty with origins dating back to before the 10th century. It is currently owned by Paradores de Turismo, where it can be visited free of charge.
Next, we will enjoy a catamaran ride through the canyons of the Sil River. During this tour, we will marvel at waterfalls of up to 500 metres, impressive slopes of more than 70%, and the canyon walls, home to the centuries-old vineyards of the Ribeira Sacra Denomination of Origin.
After the ride, we can stop at the main Sil River viewpoints and nearby monasteries to admire the beauty of the landscape, with its vast vineyards, hidden monasteries, and some dazzling waterfalls.
At midday, we will have free time for lunch.
In the afternoon, we will return to the Spa Hotel, where we will enjoy another thermal circuit. This time, we will relax in its thermal pool with hydrotherapy jets, waterfalls, and swan neck fountains.
We will end the day with a well-deserved rest at the hotel.
- Day 3. Breakfast, end of services, and Outariz Thermal Baths
After our second night in Galicia and enjoying another magnificent breakfast, our journey will come to an end, but before returning, we offer a final luxury stop for this getaway.
We will Check-Out of our accommodation and take the morning to enjoy the Outariz Thermal Baths, located on the banks of the Miño River.
These baths are characterised by their design inspired by Japanese spa culture, with wooden facilities perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings. The Outariz Thermal Baths offer two thermal circuits: Celtic and Zen, with 11 outdoor baths and 3 indoor baths. Additionally, we can enjoy various beauty treatments and massages to end the getaway on a relaxing note.
If chosen, at the end of this experience, our chauffeur will transfer us to the Ourense train station according to your train or flight departure time.

How to Formalise Your Booking
For better management by our travel agency, we recommend making your booking at least 15 days in advance. However, if the booking is made within a shorter period, we will still process it, although booking in advance is always advisable.
To formalise your booking, a payment of €60 per person is required as a deposit and management fee.
Once the booking is formalised, our team will contact you as soon as possible to confirm all the details.
After formalising your booking, we will send you all the related information for your review and confirmation.
When all services are confirmed, and 15 days before the start of the trip, the client must pay the remaining balance of the booking, which corresponds to the total price of the trip minus the deposit already paid.
If the booking is formalised less than 15 days in advance of the trip start date, the client must pay the full amount of the trip at the time of booking.
Free cancellation up to 7 days before
If you wish to cancel your booking, no cancellation fees will apply as long as you do so 7 days before the trip start date. In this case, any amounts already paid will be fully refunded.
